A Murfreesboro nail salon worker was arrested for committing sexual battery against a customer during an in-home appointment on Sunday, September 6.

Nam Dinh, 39, known only as “John” to the customer, was detained by the police on September 11 and officially charged with sexual battery.

The female customer reported that Dinh tried to kiss and touch her inappropriately. She had booked an in-house appointment for a manicure and pedicure with Dinh of Nails So Happy on Lascassas Pike after having no previous issues during prior in-home appointments.

The victim was able to successfully identify Dinh from a photo by Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) Special Victims Unit Detective Tommy Roberts.

Dinh is out of jail on a $3500 bond, and he is set to appear in Rutherford County General Sessions Court on Monday, September 28.
