New Line Skateparks approved by Murfreesboro City Council

By MTN Reporter: Marley Hughes

Murfreesboro could soon get a new skate park. Murfreesboro City Council voted to

approve a construction contract of almost nine hundred thousand dollars for the New Line

Skateparks FL to construct the skate park.

The facility, which is expected to finish construction in the fall, will stand where the Pavilions once stood at Old Fort Park.

Murfreesboro Recreational Services Executive Director Nate Williams said he was

eager to see the new skate park come to life.

“This has been an amenity that our skating community has been requesting for a number of years. We look forward to capturing what Murfreesboro skateboarding is all about.”
