Thursday night Mount Juliet Police responded to a report of an armed person after a game of "Ding-Dong-Ditch" went wrong.

Five teens were going door to door in the area of Sydney Terrace near Brisbane Drive when they happened to knock on the wrong door.

43-year-old Jimmy Robinson Jr. followed the teens in his own vehicle after they left his property, and confronted two of the five with a handgun ordering them out of their vehicle.

Robinson is now charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

One juvenile is charged with trespassing on Robinson's property and 20-year-old James Davison is cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Luckily, no-one was hurt in the altercation.
