Rutherford County Schools has reported schools are closing two hours ahead of schedule Wednesday, due to heavy rains that may lead to flooding and bad weather moving in.
Murfreesboro City Schools has not made arrangements to dismiss early as of Wednesday, representative Lisa Trail said.
A message was sent out to parents and guardians from country schools spokesman James Evans shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday, saying that the goal is to make sure all buses and transportation for students was taken care of before the severe weather comes.
