The Smyrna Parks and Recreations are set to remain closed until further notice due to last weekend's flooding.
Sharp Springs Natural Area, Volunteer Park, Jefferson Springs Trailhead, and portions of the Greenway will all remain closed until further notice.
Other facilities will be open by the end of the month. Smyrna Parks and Recreation Director Mike Moss stated, "I want to invite citizens to enjoy the recreation spaces that remain open, staff is cleaning impacted areas where it is possible to do so and will continue as the water recedes."
Any questions about the facilities impacted can call the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department Office at 615-459-9773.
